Imaginative toys have a place in the natural parents home. They bring creativity and joy back to our children's play. They help keep all of those batteries out of our landfills.
I hate all those electronic toys that are out today. It seems like every toy that is on the market today has to have batteries. Personally, I would rather that my children play with simple toys that spark the imagination.
I don’t want to have to replace batteries just for my child to get some enjoyment out of a toy. You could definitely call me old fashioned because I think the simplest ones are the most rewarding for the kids.
Just look at your child at Christmas, do they spend more time playing with the boxes the toys come in than they do with the toy? Mine do, even my oldest will build a fort out of the bigger boxes. They have a blast! My kids will spend hours on end playing in these “forts”.
Being a frugal mom of 5 kids I want to spend my money on items that they are going to value and take care of. Ones that will last that also won’t have me replacing all those batteries.
I found a great store that has really cute imaginative toys and more. The store is called Magic Cabin.
Magic Cabin provides a delightful assortment of heirloom-quality, all-natural playthings. From Arts & Crafts supplies and projects to Dolls and Toys, one will find playthings that foster imagination and creative play. They are good quality products, and they guarantee them too.
Sensational Beginningsis another store I like, especially for their dress-up costumes. They have many different products to choose from, even personalized cds for your child.
