I feel that dog behavior training is very important. I'm not talking about teaching him tricks I'm talking about basic training.

No one wants a dog that pees on the floor, chews up all of the furniture, digs in the trash, jumps up on everyone coming through the door, or bolts out the door at any given chance.

Our dogs are like children, they do not come into this world automatically knowing how to behave, they must be taught.

Dogs can be trained at almost any age. You just have to know the right way to train an older dog.

Anyone can learn these skills, but you must be consistent when teaching your pet. You cannot scold your pet one-minute and let them get away with the problem behavior the next.

There are two programs that I recommend if you would like to try to train your pet yourself. They are Click Here!" width="1" height="1" /> Do It Yourself Dog Training At Home andClick Here!" width="1" height="1" />Dog Training Home Study Course.

If you want help from a professional Dog Trainer, I have used PetSmart’s Dog Training Classes. Or you could find a Dog Trainer listed in your local Yellow Pages.
