Tell a Friend to Visit I have been breast-feeding for over 10 years, since my first child was born. As a believer in attachment parenting breast-feeding was the one thing that topped my list as the perfect way to attend to my son's needs. Breast milk is the best food that we can feed our babies. Man-made formula cannot compare to the perfect food that God made. It is perfect for our growing babies, and it changes with their needs. Breast milk is the right temperature, always ready, and it’s free. What more could you ask for? Of course, it doesn’t always come easy. Yes, that’s right, sometimes there are problems. Baby doesn’t latch on properly, your not making enough milk, or you get an infection, there can be so many different problems. I have experienced many of these problems and then some. But, to do the best thing you can possibly do for your baby, you must be persistent and work through these problems.
I have been very fortunate that my husband and in-laws have always supported me when it came to breast-feeding, or anything having to do with my children. They have been my rock when I needed them.
